About

Neelkamal Bhuyan is a Machine Learning Ph.D. student advised by Dr. Debankur Mukherjee. He is working on Online Decision Making with Movement Costs in Stochastic and Adversarial Settings. He is a recipient of the Alice & John Jarvis Best Paper Award (Honorable Mention), the ARC-ACO Fellowship from the Algorithms & Randomness Center, the Thomas H. Johnson Fellowship and the Stewart Topper Fellowship (both from ISyE). 

Alongside ISyE, he often works with Dr. Adam Wierman at CalTech and has industry collaborations with Nokia Bell Labs (Dr. Murali Kodialam, Dr. Randeep Bhatia, Dr. TV Lakshman). He completed his Bachelor of Technology (with Honors) in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in 2022.
