Connor Riley

Connor Riley is a Ph.D. student in Operations Research at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. He received a Bachelors degree in Computer Science & Engineering from The University of Connecticut and studied Operations Research at the University of Michigan for two years prior to joining Georgia Tech. His research resides at the intersection of artificial intelligence and optimization. Particularly, he is interested in applying artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning to enhance existing optimization algorithms. His current research focuses on large-scale vehicle routing problems for on-demand multi-modal transportation to demonstrate more attractive alternatives to existing public transportation solutions.
