Krishna Acharya is a Ph.D. candidate in Machine Learning at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. He is passionate about recommender systems, generative retrieval and is deeply committed to safeguarding user privacy and improving model performance across diverse user segments, leveraging techniques from differential privacy and algorithmic fairness. His work has been published in top machine learning venues, such as ICLR, NeurIPS, TMLR, ECIR, KDD, SaTML and UAI.
During his Ph.D., Krishna contributed to high-impact industry projects, solving challenging problems in recommendation, explainability, and fairness as an Applied Scientist and Machine Learning Intern at Amazon, Pinterest, and Keysight.
He is currently pursuing Research Scientist, Applied Scientist, and Machine Learning Engineer opportunities in industry.
