Down to Earth Energy was founded on the idea of being a leader in renewable energy. We strive to make a positive impact on the environment by providing the best customer service with the best people using the best practices in communication, logistics and technology. We are a large small business but work with many of the largest companies in the Energy sector where we can have a large impact. Down to Earth Energy is primarily involved in collecting used cooking oil, processing it and selling the refined used cooking oil into the renewable diesel Industry.

Project Description

We collect used cooking oil from restaurants and food processing companies. We use Microsoft Field Service to schedule routes for resources (trucks, drivers) to collect oil. We want to optimize our routes based on many constraints. We need to develop the best model for optimization. We have lots of historical data with the ability to to consider many factors. Once we have a good foundation for what to model we can use it to help feed the AI models within Microsoft Dynamics. We also have a mapping plugin that we could further enhance with better a better model. We can refine scope to a specific area / model for short term deliverables.
