About

Dr. Yuang Chen is an assistant professor in the Master of Analytics (MSA) program at the Georgia Tech Shenzhen Institute (GTSI), and he is also an adjunct assistant professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Dr. Chen teaches operations research and statistics classes at GTSI for the MSA program including optimization, probability, economic decision-making, and regression analysis. He views teaching as an essential part of his career. His goal is to educate students from different backgrounds and equip them with the capabilities to solve real-world analytics problems. Dr. Chen’s research focuses on practical applications of stochastic optimization models.
