About

Dr. Ying (Laura) Li is a senior lecturer in the H. Milton School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Prior to joining ISyE, Dr. Li taught supply chain management courses at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University.  She received her Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor.  Dr. Li's research involves capacity, technology and inventory management, healthcare operations management, and data modeling for decision-making.  Her research has appeared in Management Science, IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, Omega, International Journal of Production Economics, and others. Dr. Li has worked with the University of Michigan hospital and Scott & White hospital on cost containment related projects, and Brazos Valley Foodbank on the recruitment of partner agencies.
