About

Stefan Faulkner is a second-year Machine Learning Ph.D. student at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Stefan attended the University of West Indies Mona, where he studied computer science and mathematics. He later earned a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech before embarking on his doctoral journey.

Currently, Stefan is a Graduate Research Assistant at  AI Institute for Advances in Optimization (AI4OPT)., with research interests spanning online algorithms, reinforcement learning, and supply chain optimization. He is particularly passionate about applying machine learning and optimization techniques to address real-world planning challenges in logistics & supply chain and energy systems. In addition to his academic pursuits, Stefan has gained valuable experience as a Data Scientist in the Financial Services Industry.
