About

Lauren E. Silver, MPH is a Corporate Relations Manager at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. As a career advisor, she collaborates with graduate students enrolled in the residential Master of Science in Analytics (MSA) program. On the employer engagement front, she builds and sustains recruiting partnerships with employers seeking Georgia Tech's data science talent.

Prior to Georgia Tech, Lauren advised undergraduate students pursuing degrees through Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and School of Public Health. She was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate levels while in graduate school. It was during that time that she developed her interest in working with university-level students. She moved to Atlanta to pursue her M.P.H. after conducting health policy and public health research for two social science research firms in the Washington, D.C. area.

Lauren received her B.A. in public policy from Vanderbilt University in 2004 and her M.P.H. from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2013.
