Kevin Wu is a Ph.D. student in Operations Research at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. His research focuses on developing scalable mathematical optimization and decomposition methods for large-scale energy-system planning. In particular, his work combines decomposition algorithms and high-performance computing to address computational challenges in transmission expansion and energy storage planning. His current research includes collaboration with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
