About

Gamze Tokol-Goldsmanis a Lecturer at the Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech.

 Dr. Tokol-Goldsmanis has taught courses in operations management, operations research, and statistical applications at Georgia Tech, Southern Polytechnic State University, and Middle East Technical University (in Ankara, Turkey).  She has also worked as a quality assurance engineer at CAPS Logistics and the Earley Corporation, both in Atlanta.  In addition, she is an active consultant, undertaking projects in a variety of IE/OR application areas, including value estimation for damaged vehicles, and cost/benefit analyses of new drugs brought to the market. 

Dr. Tokol-Goldsman visited the School of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at Cornell University as a NATO Visiting Research Scholar during her Ph.D. studies.  She has several publications in archival journals as well as contributions to various books.

She received her Ph.D. in operational research at Middle East Technical University in 1994.  She also received her M.S. and B.S. in industrial engineering from Middle East Technical University in 1987 and 1984, respectively.
