Taegyu Kang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. Before joining Georgia Tech in 2026, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics at Purdue University. He received his Ph.D. in Statistics from Purdue University in 2025.
My research focuses on the topology and geometry of large-scale networks and stochastic processes on networks with underlying geometry. Specific current interests are as follows: higher-order networks, random geometric graphs, continuum percolation, random topology (homology and homotopy of random simplicial complexes), topological data analysis, etc.
