About
Xiaoshuang is a Ph.D. candidate in Operations Research at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech, advised by Professor Enlu Zhou.
His research interests lie in reinforcement learning, stochastic optimization, and simulation-based decision-making. In particular, he focuses on developing algorithms for sequential decision-making under uncertainty, with an emphasis on risk-aware and safe reinforcement learning and their theoretical guarantees.
Before joining Georgia Tech, he received his bachelor's and master's degrees in Mathematics.
