About
Roshan Vengazhiyil Joseph is a A. Russell Chandler III Chair and Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech. He is a core member of the statistics group in ISyE. He is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and American Society for Quality, and a former Editor of Technometrics.
Research
Dr. Joseph's research interests are in the broad areas of applied and computational statistics. He leads the engineering analytics group in ISyE, where the major focus is on developing novel data analytic methods for solving complex engineering problems. Dr. Joseph is an author of more than 100 journal articles and has received many research awards. His book on experimental design summarizes more than 25 years of his work in the field of design and analysis of experiments.
Teaching
Dr. Joseph teaches graduate courses on Design of experiments, Advanced design of experiments, Regression analysis, Advanced statistical modeling, and Bayesian statistics, and undergraduate courses on Methods for quality improvement and Regression & forecasting.
