The primary clients for this initiative are:Administrative Services Center (ASC): Provides targeted support for talent acquisition, onboarding and hiring, and workforce administration to streamline HR-related processes across campus.
Office of Information Technology (OIT): Delivers the technical infrastructure and data services that enable efficient, integrated recruitment operation.
Together, ASC and OIT are key stakeholders in Georgia Tech's recruitment ecosystem, working in close collaboration with Georgia Tech Human Resources (GTHR) to ensure that recruitment practices align with institutional goals, policies, and compliance standards.
Project Description
Title:Foundational Analysis and Stakeholder Insights for Recruitment Process Optimization
Client Profile: Georgia Tech’s competitive hiring process spans multiple units and roles, with distinct workflows and systems. As part of an institute-wide process optimization effort, the hiring process has been broken down into three phases – Recruitment, Selection, and Onboarding. In preparation for the final phase of this improvement effort, it is essential to gather foundational data and stakeholder perspectives related to Recruitment to ensure meaningful and sustainable improvements.

Client Need: The recruitment phase of hiring is complex and decentralized, with varying practices across units. We need to understand current performance, system usage, and stakeholder experiences to inform process improvement workshops scheduled for Spring 2026. This project will provide the groundwork for redesigning recruitment workflows and improving service delivery.
The project will focus on:
· Collecting baseline performance metrics
· Inventorying systems and tools used in recruitment
· Documenting current workflows and practices
· Conducting Voice of the Customer (VoC) analysis through surveys and interviews
· Identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement
Project Skills: Process mapping, stakeholder engagement, survey design, data analysis, systems inventory, business communication.
