Elevate Solutions Group (ESG) is a vertically integrated contract manufacturer certified to injection mold and assemble precision parts reliably and expertly. Featuring state-of-the-art plastic injection molding manufacturing technology and assembly, ESG also utilizes Oracle ERP and WMS software to facilitate 3PL warehousing, order picking and shipping operations. Major capabilities and customers include creating fitting sets for all four major contact lens manufacturers (Johnson & Johnson, Alcon, Bausch+Lomb and CooperVision), bird feeders for Pennington Seed and fiber optic cable connectors for Dura-Line.Project Description
The Manufacturing and Distribution center is located in Austell, Georgia, only 14 miles from Georgia Tech’s campus and next door to Six Flags. ESG is the lone occupant of its 162,000 square foot facility, with all operations under the same roof.Client Need*:
ESG has seen significant growth in the past few years, including doubling its workforce to over 215 employees and moving finished goods distribution to a nearby 83,000 square foot drop-ship warehouse. The offloading of finished goods has created space in the 160k main building; an opportunity for flow optimization for manufacturing, assembly, and automation. This is key to continued growth!
ESG is looking for a proposal on layout which optimizes material flow throughout the facility. Streamlining of processes throughout the facility is encouraged and full access to the operation. Process data and the ESG management team will be granted to the senior design team!
