NCR Atleos’ Services targets to go beyond the basic break-fix approach to maintaining our customer’s ATM/ITM fleet. Our service organization experiences variability in demand due to seasonal fluctuations, special projects, new business opportunities, customer specific availability, and service-level requirements. This variability creates forecast and planning challenges beyond the normal difficulties caused by vacancies, leave of absence, training, and other unexpected situations. Minimizing operational disruptions for our customers in this environment is critical to our success. As part of our technology and digital first transformation, NCR Atleos is exploring opportunities to optimize the technician pool across defined geographic territories and within those territories, redefine how we schedule shifts to achieve the availability and service-level targets we have established with our customers. Our company is seeking analysis of the current capacity planning, staffing and scheduling practices and looking for recommendations on how to improve coverage, optimize total cost to serve, maximize resource utilization, and provide recommendations for staffing models and capacity planning.
This project will present the team with the opportunity to explore data modeling, capacity planning, workforce planning, and multi-scenario simulation modeling to test potential and alternative operating conditions across multiple geographies and territories.
