Xilei Zhao is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Zhao's research focuses on using data science and complex systems modeling to tackle challenging problems in the fields of transportation and resilience. Dr. Zhao received her B.E. in Civil Engineering from Southeast University, China, in 2013, her MSEs in Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in 2016 and 2017, respectively, and her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from JHU in 2017. She was the recipient of the JHU's Applied Mathematics and Statistics Award for Outstanding Master's Research.
