Ferdinando (Nando, for short) Fioretto is a postdoctoral fellow in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and System Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, working with Pascal Van Hentenryck. Prior to this, he was a research fellow at the University of Michigan. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science in a double program from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Udine and the Department of Computer Science at New Mexico State University.
Nando's research focuses on artificial intelligence, multiagent systems, and data privacy. Nando has published in several top-ranked artificial intelligence journals and conferences and has served the program committee of various artificial intelligence conferences, including AAAI, IJCAI, AAMAS, and CP. He is the recipient of a best student paper award (CMSB, 2013), a most visionary paper award (AAMAS workshop series, 2017), and a best AI dissertation award (AI*IA, 2017).
