Fatma Melike Yildirim

Melike is Ph.D. candidate in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Georgia Institute of Technology. She obtained her M.S. degree in Healthcare Systems Engineering from the Industrial and Systems Engineering at Lehigh University in 2015. Her research interest is health analytics focusing on analysis of public health interventions. Currently, her research spans multiple areas, including cost-effectiveness modeling of pediatric asthma interventions, prediction and optimization of screening and vaccination decisions. She is evaluating pediatric asthma intervention strategies with defining targeting populations to achieve maximum possible public health benefits and return on investments.
