Daniela Hurtado Lange

Daniela Hurtado Lange is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in Operations Research at the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering. Her undergraduate studies are on Industrial engineering and Math engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and she also got a Master's of Science at the same university.

Her Ph.D. thesis is on performance analysis of stochastic processing networks. Her work is on asymptotic analysis of load balancing systems and scheduling systems such as the input-queued switch and the generalized switch. Her research interests are on queueing theory and applied probability, and professor Siva Theja Maguluri is her thesis advisor.
