INSTRUCTIONS/GUIDELINES FOR REGISTRATION ISSUES
Summer 2008 Registration
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
- No telephone or walk-in requests for overloads, permits, or prerequisites will be accepted!
- Decisions are final! Please do not contact the ISyE academic staff unless an error has been made processing your request.
- For information about change of major, please go to the About Change of Major page.
ISyE Online Overloads and Permit Requests will be accepted
May 08, 2008 - 7:00am to
May 16, 2008 - 12:00pm
Fall 2008 Overloads and Permit Requests will be accepted
August 13, 2008 - 7:00am to August 22, 2008 - 12:00pm
The
OVERLOAD and
PERMIT areas are currently Open.
ISyE Online Prerequisite Override Requests will be accepted

The PREREQUISITE OVERRIDE area is currently Open
DISTINCTIONS BETWEEN AN OVERLOAD, PERMIT AND PREREQUISITE OVERRIDE REQUEST
OVERLOAD REQUEST
If
you seek to register for an ISyE course that you are otherwise qualified
for but that is closed. Overloads are considered on a case-by-case basis.
PERMIT REQUEST*
If
you cannot register for an ISyE course because of a major restriction, a
class restriction, or a time conflict. Permits are considered on a case-by-case
basis.
PREREQUISITE OVERRIDE REQUEST
If
you have not had the proper corequisite/prerequisite course for another course.
MOST COREQs and PREREQs ARE ABSOLUTE, SO AN OVERRIDE WILL NOT BE GRANTED.
Exceptions are made on a case-by-case basis.
*PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU REQUEST A PERMIT, YOU MAY ALSO NEED TO REQUEST AN OVERLOAD IF THIS CLASS IS CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR REGISTRATION.
