Bio

Spyros Reveliotis is an associate professor in ISyE. He joined Georgia Tech in 1996, after completing his Ph.D. studies in industrial engineering at the University of Illinois. Dr. Reveliotis' research interests are in discrete event systems theory and its applications, especially in the control of flexibly automated production and workflow management systems. His current research focuses on the problem of supervisory/structural control of flexibly automated production and workflow management systems, and the development of effective scheduling and tactical planning policies for these environments. On the educational side, he has an active interest in the application of web-based multimedia technology in teaching and training.

Dr. Reveliotis is a senior member of IEEE, a member of IIE and INFORMS, and is a registered engineer with the Technical Chamber of Greece. He also serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Robotics and Automation.
