Bio
Harvey Donaldson has been a member of the general faculty of Georgia Tech since 1998. He holds a bachelor's and a master's in industrial engineering from the University of Alabama, as well as a master's in management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow. Prior to joining Tech, Donaldson spent 16 years with the United States Postal Service at the national headquarters in Washington, D.C. He served in a variety of engineering and management positions, including manager of Decision Support Systems, general manager of Distribution Networks, and assistant to the senior vice president for Operations Support. He also performed temporary operations management assignments, including Division General Manager/Postmaster in Cleveland. Donaldson was recognized numerous times for his accomplishments with USPS, and he has presented his work on postal automation internationally.
