Information Services
Information Services is responsible for the computing and networking infrastructure and technical support necessary to sustain all of the Stewart School's activities - instruction, research, and administration. In addition to providing these services directly, Information Services also serves as liaison with other campus computing organizations, including the Office of Information Technology (OIT) which provides computing and networking services to the campus as a whole.
Getting Help
The IT staff is available to assist with any ISyE realted computing issues between the hours of 8AM until 6PM (at a minimum) on weekdays.
If you experience any problems with ISyE computing equipment or facilities, please report them to the ISyE HelpDesk by registering online. You can also email helpdesk@isye.gatech.edu, but please note that you will be unable to track the progress of your request unless you first register online. In the event of emergencies or when e-mail is not possible, service can be requested by contacting any member of Information Services team. The staff can be reached in person in their office suites in the Groseclose building (suites 302 and 306 and room 305) and through our helpdesk phone line at 404-894-6518.
Once you have submitted a helpdesk request, you will receive a confirmation notice that tells you the problem has been logged. The problem is then referred to the appropriate person in Information Services. Then, within a reasonable amount of time, the appropriate person will contact you.
Helpdesk requests are prioritized based on the urgency of the request. If you do not receive help within what you think is a reasonable amount of time, please contact Lawrence Sharp at 404-894-0270, or email Lawrence Sharp, with a copy of your original helpdesk request.
