Faculty Positions Available

The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech invites applications for faculty positions.  Qualified applicants with diverse backgrounds and interests are welcome.  Of particular interest are the analysis and design of systems, including health systems, human-machine systems, logistics and supply chain systems, and manufacturing systems, and methodologies such as mathematical programming, statistics, simulation, and stochastic systems.  Strong emphasis will be placed on identifying individuals with the ability to integrate these areas with computation, information engineering, or systems engineering. Appointments may be made at a rank commensurate with the individual's record.  Georgia Tech is a major educational and research institution and faculty members are expected to contribute both in research and undergraduate and graduate programs.  Applicants should possess the Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related fields.  Background checks (to include criminal background checks) will be required prior to any offer of employment. Nash Junior Professorship

  • The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at Georgia the Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking applicants for the Harold R. and Mary Anne Nash Junior Professor in ISYE. Funds for the Nash Junior Professorship are awarded for a three year term to encourage recruitment of female tenure track and recently tenured faculty and assist in the establishment of a research program. Qualified candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Statistics, or related fields with demonstrated ability to develop an innovative research and education program, teach graduate and undergraduate courses and mentor graduate students.
