The Georgia Tech Business Network is an organization created and sponsored by the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at Georgia Tech to provide alumni, faculty, students and business partners with lifelong support in terms of knowledge & relationships.
GTBN offers professional development opportunities to network, share experiences and trade business tips both online and in person during educational forums and special programs in the Atlanta area. The network is anchored by a new Web site (http://www.gtbn.org), where individuals can register for upcoming events. After joining the network, users have a user name and password that allows them access to resources including an event and meetings calendar, business news updates, discussion groups and information about other members.
While individual groups may meet as often as they like, quarterly meetings will be held for the entire Network to attend. These meetings will be driven by the content of preceding discussion groups. During the quarterly meeting, the GTBN Board will convene a panel of alumni experts on the issue to be presented. Alumni will actively participate by taking questions from the audience as well.
