Welcome to the website of The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. With nearly 60 tenure-track faculty, ISyE is able to support not only a broad spectrum of academic concentrations but, importantly, several that have achieved world-class rank.
Though the Stewart School functions as a single cohesive unit, some of our subdisciplines or academic specialties such as operations research, statistics, manufacturing and logistics, and various ones identified with the ACO Program, are so large and concentrated and so heavily represented, they could be legitimately viewed as academic departments in their own right.

SCL & ISyE Commended for Grooming Internationally Savvy Engineers
In the 2007 edition of Internationalizing the Campus, NAFSA: Association of International Educators recognized Georgia Tech for its ongoing commitment to grooming internationally savvy engineers and maintaining a world-wide presence with satellite campuses. NAFSA specifically commended the Stewart School of ISyE for its Supply Chain & Logistics Institute (SCL). -
Keeping Vaccinations On Track
Using computer science and mathematical models, Dr. Pinar Keskinocak and her colleagues working with the CDC, have created a new, interactive childhood immunization schedule. To ensure children receive their vaccinations at the correct times. -
